"Phildo" first started playing poker in college with his friends, occasionally playing small stakes SNGs and cash games online just for fun. After grinding $.25/.50 for six months in late 2006, he got his first big MTT score in January of 2007 for over 7k, and soon started playing cash games as high as $5/10 online. After graduating the University of South Carolina in May, he turned his focus to online tournaments, starting at the $24+2s on Full Tilt and grinding his way up to the biggest tourneys on the net. His largest score to date is a first place finish in the $1k Monday for almost 70k in January of 2008, and has numerous high finishes in the 100 rebuys on stars, a 2nd place finish in the Wednesday 150k for 31k, and a Sunday major win in the Stars 2nd Chance tournament for 48k. He is currently top 10 in every OPOY race for 2008, and is on the brink of entering the top 10 on pocketfives.com as well.
