Tom "TitanTom32" Braband started playing poker with friends in high school. Various games turned into Hold 'em and then he started playing small stakes online cash games and was a losing player for a year or two before getting introduced to tournaments and picked up a $1200 score followed up by a 9k win in the full tilt 150 in November of 2006. Several small wins followed that in the next 4-5 months before taking 2nd place in the Sunday major on full tilt for 91k. He has progressed through the pocketfives.com rankings since that time and has been as high as his current ranking of #18. In September and October of 2008, he recorded two wins in the Pokerstars 500, a win in the full tilt 65k, a 5th and 6th place finish in the full tilt 1k monday, and a 4th in the pokerstars 200 rebuy. He is currently finishing up his last year at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and will graduate with a degree in psychology. He hopes to play professionally for the next few years and continue to adapt his game and help teach those around him.
