Russell "rdcrsn" Carson started playing poker in university with friends for fun. Then he moved to online and lost small amounts for a while until developing his skills to the point that he could maintain an online bankroll. Belive it or not he actually started out playing limit holdem before switching to NL holdem mtt's. After finally making the switch to mtt's Russell's game really began to blossom. In February of 2006 he got his first major score taking down a tournament on Party Poker for $65,000. In the past 12 months or so he's had a number of huge scores including winning and chopping the 200r, 100r, 3rd in FTOPS 2.5k, 4th in FTP "Million", and 1st in Mansion 500k. Russell generally stick to a TAG approach for the most part but is quite capable of switching gears depending on stack size and table He has been ranked as high as 2nd in the pocketfives online rankngs and is now currently 8th.
